Feasibility studies
The development potential of sites can be assessed quickly following site appraisals and initial sketch designs. Preliminary 3D models can be quickly produced to show the form and massing of the proposals and if they affect neighbouring buildings or the countryside. The practice is also currently preparing several masterplans for large- scale housing projects which include character appraisals of the site and locality and the preparation of a development brief, prior to local authority submission. Building surveys
Buildings that are to be converted, refurbished or extended are initially surveyed to the highest level of accuracy, by obtaining precise measurements and detailed photographic records, to ensure that the proposals can be integrated correctly, economically and in keeping with their character.

Statutory approvals
We prepare the documentation for planning applications, Listed Building and Conservation Area consents, Building Regulations and Environment Agency approvals. We have gained a reputation for securing difficult approvals in many Local Planning Authorities for a diverse range of projects.

Liaison with other consultants
We work with specialist consultants on a regular basis in the fields of planning and Appeal procedures, Structural Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Topographical Surveying, Quantity Surveying and cost control and Planning Supervision.

Production Information
Working drawings showing the detailed construction of the building. Specification of materials and finishes. Coordination of all design work, cost control and tender action.

Project Management
Inspection of the construction works and the administration of the Building contract in association with other consultants and the general contractor.
